My wife and I stayed at this cottage for a long weekend getaway. We both agree that staying here was one of the easiest and most fun vacations we have ever had. It was a short trip from the airport to get here. The house is set up to perfectly accommodate relaxation – the neighborhood is quiet and quirky and all the neighbors were friendly. I loved sitting on both the wrap around porches and reading, eating a meal or drinking wine while taking in the ocean views. We walked to the beach and enjoyed San Diego's beautiful weather. We got to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets every night from the porch. The kitchen has everything you need for to make an elaborate dinner or for simple breakfast and coffee in the morning. There's also a grill which is perfect way to cook to take advantage of all the fresh seafood available in the area. And then my favorite way to end every night was a dip in the hot tub right before going to bed. I slept amazingly well.
The location is very convenient to take advantage of restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, or more touristy places in San Diego. And when my wife forgot to pack something, it was no problem running out to a nearby Target to buy a replacement. So much was available within walking distance and then even more choices were a short car ride away. We can't wait to come back to an amazing neighborhood and a stress-free vacation experience.

Staying at Coral cottage was such a treat. The ocean view is incredible—perfect for watching the sunset or hanging out with a cup of coffee. The place is cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is super peaceful but still easily walkable to great local spots and the absolutely gorgeous Sunset Cliffs Park. We loved exploring the area and would totally come back. Coral cottage is a must visit!

This adorable cottage with a breathtaking view off the deck is perfectly located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood Ocean's Beach in San Diego. On one hand, you can walk to the beaches (including the dog beach), the food, and the party on OB's main streets. In the other direction, are more peaceful, quieter beaches with stunning cliff views. And then behind you, Point Loma is just a hop over a hill to reach more restaurants, shopping, and other San Diego attractions like the zoo or Sea World. But whatever direction you choose, the house is a private sanctuary. To start, there's the amazing views off the porch, the quiet street interrupted only by the occasional visit of a loud parrot, the well-appointed kitchen and outdoor grill to cook up an amazing meal, and then the hot tub out back to soak off any aches or pains from all the beach adventures. You will want for nothing but if there's something you think of the management is quite responsive. Parking is easy. Getting here from the airport is super easy. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and generous shared spaced, the cottage is just the right size for all kinds of vacations whether you are by yourself, have a few friends, or bring your kids with you. The end result is you feel like you got to enjoy your own little slice of this magical San Diego neighborhood. What more can anyone ask for out of a little beach cottage by the sea?

The house and location was great. It was exactly as pictured, and it was the perfect size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms for our family. My 8 year old son really liked sleeping on the small pull out bed from the large chair in the Master Suite. We all enjoyed the patio.

My husband and I shared the cottage with his brother and wife. We had a great time. It was very comfortable for 4 people. We took lots of walks from the cottage. There is an abundance of restaurants in the area. We cooked meals there..

We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Cliffs Beach Cottage. The house was perfect for four adults. The views of the ocean from the house and porch are great and the location perfect for exploring San Diego and the coast. The hot tub was a real bonus. All in all, we highly recommend this rental!

Lovely vintage home! Very clean and well kept. The only thing I would comment on is that the driveway is very steep and the front of the house is on a steep hill. You could not see that from the pictures online. The location was perfect for us, a nice 20 minute walk down to the Pier and restaurants. House stayed plenty cool with the windows open to access the fresh ocean breezes( no A/C) . Overall a charming place to stay!

We had the most incredible stay at the Coral Cottage. The location is amazing and great for the coastal sunsets! The place is nestled among the hills in a quiet a beautiful neighborhood that is convenient to the beach, restaurants, and bars. The house itself is beautiful and well kept. We especially loved the porch facing the ocean! The hot tub was a nice bonus at the end of the day. Everything was A+ and we cant wait to return.

What a cute cottage- we loved our long weekend here. The wraparound porch with ocean views is great, as is the hot-tub. We made a few meals in the well- appointed kitchen (& outside grill) and walked to the main street in town for others. Communication was great (if a little over the top) and contactless check-in/out a breeze. Highly recommend this place for a great stay.

We loved the location. It is only 10-15 minute drive from some great beaches but still provides the peace and quiet of a residential neighborhood. We appreciated the driveway parking, hot tub, bbq grill, patio dining area, and well stocked kitchen. My wife also frequently commented on how cute the place was decorated. We hope to stay again sometime.

A wonderful cottage in a terrific location! We always stay in Ocean Beach when we visit San Diego and this cottage will rank among our favorite rentals here. The house is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped (beach towels!!)—and conveniently located to everything OB has to offer. From our morning coffee to an evening glass of wine watching the sun set to a soak in the hot tub, we especially enjoyed all of the lovely outdoor spaces. Pro tip: this is a quiet residential neighborhood, so if you're looking for a party house, this isn't it.

Great location and cozy! Stayed a week here and couldn't have been happier. Was just two of us and it felt extremely spacious. You are just down the road from the sunset cliffs which is breathtaking on a clear day, and if you want to avoid the crowds you can see the sunset from the outdoor deck! Will definitely stay again in the future.

My husband, our two friends, and myself loved staying at the Coral Cottage, as it is cozy, rejuvenating, and the perfect beach house haven to get away and recharge. The house has more than just your basic amenities and the hosts provided sweet little additions like a beach umbrella, cruiser bikes, body boards, a surf board, beach chairs, ect, which are all things you don't want to have to buy for single use on vacation. We had so much fun exploring the Ocean Beach neighborhood, and coming back to the house to grill food and watch the sunset from the incredible patio view. Relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of exploring was the cherry on top. This place is top notch and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at Coral Cottage for a week-long vacation with two couples! The home is cozy and cute with everything you need and just minutes walk from the beach and many nearby fantastic bars and restaurants. Enjoy watching the sun set over the ocean from the patio, or take a short walk down to Sunset Cliffs to watch from the shore, then fall asleep to the soft sound of the waves. Highly recommend!

We love Ocean Beach and stay here every time we visit San Diego. This cottage ranks among our favorites. From morning coffee to evening glasses of wine watching the sunset, we enjoyed all of the lovely outdoor spaces here. The neighborhood and the neighbors are quiet, so if you're looking for a party house, this isn't it. The cottage is well-equipped (beach towels!!) and it was very clean!

This beach gem was the perfect get away that my husband and I needed badly during all these stressful Covid days. First, the home is sparkling clean. Didn't need my back up lysol wipes and spray. The home is tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. The owners paid attention to every detail for a perfect stay. We woke up to blooming sunrises, and dined on the deck to magnificent sunsets. Hot tub, outdoor shower, beach bikes provided. Perfect location. Little village of Ocean beach blocks away. Adds up to a spectacular time away. Can't wait to come back.

Coral Cottage is a lovely little property in a great neighborhood in San Diego. It is certainly cozy (read: small!) but for two couples for a long weekend it worked out perfectly. It is well decorated and finished. The hot tub worked great, and there are a few nice amenities, such as the bikes, although we didn't get to use them. There is a porch swing with a view of the ocean, and you are walking distance to the main drag with Target, restaurants, bars, and the beach. The beach here is total surfer / hippie town, so just know that, whether thats your thing or not.
